Incredible value 6" f/9 iOptron Photron Ritchey-Chrétien
An excellent choice for imaging smaller galaxy and nebulae targets.
IOptron Photron Ritchey-Chrétien telescopes feature low thermal expansion quartz primary and secondary mirrors with 99% percent reflective dielectric coatings.
The RC optical design delivers images free of coma, spherical and chromatic aberrations so is an excellent choice for colour or monochrome imaging.
A fixed position primary mirror eliminates image shift that normally occurs when focusing some other telescope designs. It also features a 2" dual-speed rotatable Crayford focuser.
Three CNC-machined spacer rings are included that provide flex-free focus extension when required.
Interior knife edge baffles reduce stray light for maximum contrast.
Fitted with a Vixen-style dovetail mounting plate.

The telescope is very nice and easy to handle for my poor back. The only negative is its back heavy when attaching a camera and you got to place it in the mount hight up in the saddle . A longer dovetail rail might help, but I just attached a counter-weight to the front end of the telescope to get good balance.
It was well collimated out of the box. Im please to say. Its great for deep sky imaging, with my DSLR , having already got some nice photos off M27, and M81-M82. I dont think f9 was a hindrance, as 2minute exposure clearly showed the brighter messier. objects.
